Honeymoon in Hawaii
Although we were married in April, we decided to go for our honeymoon in December … both because Passover was soon after wedding, and we would much more enjoy a warm-weather getaway in the winter (who wouldn’t?).
It was a perfect combination of relaxation and exploration. We opted for just two destinations for our 10 day trip: Maui and the Big Island.

Niagara Falls Engagement
We took a Labor Day weekend trip to see some friends in Toronto, and also visit Niagara Falls along the way. 
Since this trip would seem perfect for a proposal, in order reduce suspicion I took Gail to browse at rings once more just before the trip (even though I had already purchased a ring) so she would not think I had not gotten one yet.
We enjoyed touring Niagra Falls and then visiting with our friends in Lake Eugenia. On the way home, we made a visit to the African Lion Safari for some close-up animal watching.
